Saint Joseph HS's Student Sleep Out success!

80 students from Saint Joe's HS slept outside on November 9th in solidarity with the homeless teens of New Jersey. In 34 degree weather, the group slept outside and collectively raised over $33,500 for Covenant House New Jersey! Read the full story here!

Barclays Service Day at CHNJ

50 volunteers from Barclays came to Covenant House New Jersey for a service day in October to not only lend a hand in our facilities clean up project (which they did an amazing job!), but to work with our youth on career readiness. Through a series of workshops, the volunteers worked with our young people on identifying career paths and engaging in mock interviews, providing the youth with not only hard skills, but also hope and excitement for the future.

Rutgers University- Newark offers a class, "Experiential Philanthropy" where groups advocate for a charity of their choice to be awarded a $2,000 grant. Hercules's group picked Covenant House New Jersey and won!

Covenant House New Jersey Receives Grant from Wells Fargo

Covenant House New Jersey was awarded a $1,000 grant on Oct. 13 by Wells Fargo Foundation to support the organization’s mission of serving homeless youth with absolute respect and unconditional love. 

Since 1989, Covenant House New Jersey has been providing food, shelter, immediate crisis care, and an array of other important services to homeless, runaway and trafficked youth between the ages of 18-21. Today there are 30 Covenant House locations in the USA, Canada and Latin America. Together we serve more than 51,000 homeless young people each year.
