EWR Spring Water Partners With Covenant House New Jersey To Help Homeless Youth

NEWARK, N.J. (July 1, 2018) – EWR Brand Spring Water commemorated its partnership with Covenant House of New Jersey by participating in the Women Unite Sleep Out in Newark. EWR, Newark’s first branded spring water, provided bottled water for the Sleep Out event and as well, announced a year-long pledge to donate $.05 from every bottle sold to the charity.

“EWR is honored to partner with an outstanding non-profit like Covenant House to make a positive impact on the youth in our state that need it most,” said Lauren Craig, co-founder of EWR and author of 100 Things to Do in Newark Before You Die. “Participating in the Sleep Out was a life-changer for me, and I now have a better idea just how dire the situation is that homeless youth face. Covenant House is truly transforming lives and EWR is excited to help with that effort.”

EWR Brand Spring Water sees its mission as bringing awareness to the City of Newark as a tourism destination as well as supporting deserving Newark-based charities. Besides partnering with Covenant House New Jersey, which provides food, shelter, crisis care, and and other important services to homeless, runaway and trafficked youth, EWR is partnered with the Newark Community Economic Development Corporation and the Greater Newark Convention and Visitors Bureau.
